Gary Lee Profile Image

Gary is a craftsman by nature and a designer by choice. Growing up, he was attracted to design and the applied arts, creating everything from illustrations and watercolor paintings to origami structures and building models. Gary’s training in urban planning opened his eyes to the relationship between buildings and space, cultivating a deep understanding of the links between scale, historical context, and user experience. This background informs his practice as an architectural designer, where he combines both the analytical aspects of planning with the artistic and user-centered aspirations of architecture. Prior to joining our studio, Gary worked at various design firms, focusing primarily on workplace interior projects–including Taipei 101’s Sky Park. Today, he supports the design team on a mix of workplace and mixed-use projects, with a firm commitment to user experience mediated by scale and context.
