A strong curiosity for discovering the factors influencing the design of buildings drew Branden to architecture. With a deep and diverse portfolio of multifamily housing—from luxury to affordable, and including dormitories, and senior housing throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, he enjoys being able to provide thoughtful design solutions that influence, build and strengthen communities. Branden employs a holistic approach to residential design, one that takes cues from the fabric of surrounding buildings, the environment and the current and historical cultural significance to site, neighborhood and its context. Branden earned his B.A. in Architecture from UC Berkeley, and his M.Arch. from the Architectural Association in London, focusing on sustainable environmental design as it pertains to housing. He joins WRNS after having worked for a number of the bay area’s leading architects in multi-family residential, and just completing the 660 Indiana Street residential project in the Dogpatch neighborhood of SF.
