Redmond Campus A new front door to a reimagined campus

As part of a 72-acre transformation of a global technology company’s headquarters in the Pacific Northwest, WRNS joined a multidisciplinary team to help shape a healthier, more connected workplace environment. Positioned at the campus threshold, WRNS designed two key buildings: Experience Center One, a public-facing destination for global visitors, and an Executive Office Building providing a collaborative setting for leadership. Together, they establish a welcoming front door to the renewed campus.

A grand, light-filled entry sequence links the two buildings and extends toward the surrounding forest, physically and visually reconnecting the campus to its landscape. All-electric systems, green roofs, and a field of geowells support long-term carbon reduction goals, while careful siting and massing preserve existing trees and restore habitat. Expansive glazing, natural materials, and indoor-outdoor gathering spaces reinforce a seamless connection to the Pacific Northwest setting, creating a workplace rooted in environmental stewardship.
