Mission College’s Library renovation transforms an aging 1990’s building into a dynamic, student-centered facility that supports studying, collaboration, and socializing. A new entry connects the Student Engagement Center to Campus Center, creating a direct, secure passage through the building and encouraging student use. An outdoor reading garden expands the Library’s offerings without increasing its footprint, providing a serene space for reflection and learning. Inside, the redesign introduces flexible, organically shaped zones that cater to individual study, group projects, and public events. Reduced book stacks and repositioned administrative spaces create open, light-filled areas, fostering exploration, connection, and academic growth.
