A former cafeteria now serves as Hillsborough School District’s library media center, reimagined to support modern learning and resource use. This adaptable space houses the district’s book collection while functioning as a classroom, arts and crafts project room, technology hub, and community meeting venue. Its open, accessible design fosters transparency and collaboration, creating a welcoming environment for diverse activities.
WRNS Studio’s partnership with Hillsborough City School District began in 2005 with a district-wide campus planning effort and continued through the implementation of their $60 million bond program, advancing innovative spaces that enrich education and community life.
